A Window Condition Report provides a dated assessment of the current state of a window and its associated elements, by a named specialist.
Whilst such a report is not a specification (and therefore should not be used as a tender document without the author's permission), it is invaluable in providing the information needed to produce such a document.
Reports should provide a detailed description of the window and its condition, analyse the causes of any deterioration, and specify the reasons for recommending a particular programme of conservation.
The information given should be clear and informative.
